Went today for the first time in weeks and did very well. only got to fish for about 2 hours. Used double jig set up. Red & Char jig bodies. 16-17 foot depth, fished about 13-14 feet deep. Didn't check surface temp but outside temp was about 50 degrees and dropping. Caught a limit easily (30 fish), but only about 12 were keepers. Nice slabs. Cleaned them all and gave them to my neighbor. Even left a few whole for him (removed head, scales and body contents). He says I always throw away the best part when I just filet them but I don't like the bones or the ribcage on my meat.
