When is the best time to fish for crappie morning or evening?

mighty, my answer would definately be morning.

I go anytime I feel like going, morning, mid day, or evening. They will still bite if you find them.

The best time to fish is when ever you can go and weather conditions work out so it is not unbearable. Sometimes it works out right and I catch a few, sometimes a lot and sometimes none. But if the weather is not miserable I generally have a good time. As far as the best time to catch fish I think there are just too many variables as to time of year, color of water, your fishing method, location etc.
