    Post Banjo Minnows

Do banjo minnows really work? If you have used them please post.
A bad day of fishing beats a good day at work.

I have bout two set's of them and have cought alot of bass on them. The spring when fish are shollow or in bushes they are deadly for the first 4 hours of daylight. I have cought some real nice fish on them (4 to 5 pounders).

I bought those things for my wife. Both of us tried fishing with them and never got a bite. I am a very avid bass fisherman and they simply didn't produce...

I bought a set of them a few years back and caught all kind of bass. With that said I the the zoom super fluke is just as effective, much cheaper, and much more available. Just fish it like you would any other soft plastic jerk bait.

GIMMIC all the way. Sure they may catch fish but there are alot of other baits ALOT cheaper that will do the same thing. Take fore instance the Hellicopter lure...:D

I bought those things once off a late night infomercial, might've been sleep ordering lol... all i know is their JUNK. Now like JWZ4 said... get a few packs of flukes... one of the best soft plastics I have ever used for getting timid bass off their beds... they seem to love the baby bass and watermelon candy colors.

I got some of the first series of them(not the newer ones with horrible colors) and have caught some really good sized bass on 'em. To date my biggest largemouth has come on a Banjo Minnow. There's a time and place for using them just like every other lure out there.
If Fishing was easy then everybody would be good at it.
