I guess a little bit about myself is in order. I have been in and out of fishing all of my life. Just getting back into it after a few years off. Last year was a great year fishing for me and the family. I have 2 boys 8 and 5, and they are what sparked me to get back into it. I purchased a small boat last year and me and the boys have been tearing it up. I've primarily been into bass, but started playing with panfish a little at the end of the summer last year. I grew up thinking the only way to catch a panfish was with a bobber and worm, but after last year I enjoy fishing for crappie just as much as fishing for bass. There is a lake about 40 miles from my house that is great for bass, and one next to it that is great for panfish. It's a tough decision when I reach the lakes. The one that is great for bass (Bass Lake it is called) is also stocked with Muskie. Yet another fish I have never caught. Anyway just hear to learn and share.

Default Welcome HC from your northern neighbor.

You'll find crappie fishin' is very addicting. I started into it three to four years ago and can't get enough. Ask questions and you'll get lots a answers.
