However, I am becoming more and more convinced that the National Weather Service is in cahoots with PETA. Seems here lately, those blasted weather forecasters are doing everything in their power to keep me from hurting the poor, defenseless little fish!!! :D:D

I'll definitely go along with that (well, the weather part anyway)! You cant even say the fish aint biting when you cannot get out on the lake and try to catch any.:o

I could kick myself... we had a gorgeous day on Saturday (high in the upper 40's, sunny, very light West wind). At the time, they were calling for similar conditions for Monday (tomorrow), only a little cooler. I passed on the opportunity to fish for a few hours on Saturday, knowing that I had the whole day free on Monday. Wouldn't you know, got up this morning and the forecast for tomorrow had changed (high of 31 degrees, 16 mph winds, and more snow). Should have jumped on Saturday's opportunity!!!
