Looks like a sales gimic to me. I can tie on another jig good enough.

I've got some at home that Slab was so kind to send me to try out, just waiting for an opportunity to get out and give then a try. Been too cold lately.

I'm going to try to find some of the Lindy fuzzy grubs to dress them with. I like the action of the hair but with most hair jigs you have to retie to go to a different color but you can change out bodies with a fuzzy grub just like you could any other soft jig body. The combination of the x-change heads and the fuzzy grub body will give me the action of a hair jig with total ability to customize the presentation without ever having to retie. I'm excited to try it.
    I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.

It looks like a gimic to me also. I would like to see a tackle company make a normal lead head jig with extra long hooks.

I think that the exchange head is a gimmic. The plastic will wear and then come apart. I will not buy them. I have a DO-IT mold and I pour my own. The recommended hooks for the mold are oversized compared to normal size that you buy in the store. If I did not have a mold I still would not buy the exchange head. I think the item will not stand the test of time and will disappear from the shelves or be on the clearance aisle. The idea is good but I do not think that crappie fishermen will embrace it.

will be trying the exchange heads this spring long lining. Used a fuzzy grub yeseterday and caught a few nice crappie with it. Like anything else you got to try it before you knock it.

They might be OK if your in a hurry or a tournament situation where time is critical. I have been told that they wear just enough to come off on the hookset. Maybe a screw on threaded design would hold up better? I'm going to try some for myself this spring before I can give a final grade.

About 90% of all lures are designed to hook the fisherman before they ever hook the fish.
