    Default Lake Monroe, Sunday

    Hi All,
Just found this crappie board, I live close to Lake Monroe and normally fish
it weekly. The last couple of weeks the speck bite has been hot.
Also, the bite seems to be over about 10/11:00, that should change once the water gets colder. The jig colors that have been producing for me are 1/16oz pink/white, orange, chart/white/red.
Are there others on this board that also fish Monroe.

I have never fished it but don't live too far away. Any tips on where to put in, spots to fish, etc? I normally fish John's Lake in Clermont and Lake Hancock in Winter Garden.

    Default Monroe update

The most action lately seems to be in the Stone Island area and of course the power plant
