Nice to see the kids enjoy themselves. I guess we found the real fisherman in the family.
Launched at 11:00 today ....water temp was coldest this year...32.2 deg fish were active and feeding on shad! Had Mom bring Hannah to me to get in on some action.........She was going to stay warm......

I am jealous, I am still trying to get my girls to catch the bug. They are still working on the patience. I really hope they catch the bug soon. I love taking kids fishing. Congrats to you and your girl.
Opinions are like A-holes, everybody has one and some stink worse than others!
Good job, JR. Glad she is Warm.....But it sure is making me Cold!
Maybe you can explain the graph to a Dummy.
Is the red circle your Jig? What do the red and green lines represent on the right side?
Thanks, mike(dummy)
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!
Mike
Frosty,
JR is running his unit in split screen with GPS on the left, the circle is the boat and the blue dots with numbers are way points that JR has put on the GPS so he can easily find those locations again. On the right is the sonar and you can see he is sitting in 40.1 foot of water and the red which is broken up just above the bottom is a school of fish. You can see a fish coming out of the school and taking the jig and then being reeled up to put in the live well.
What you don't see is the coordinates for the GPS location since he whited them out so all of us won't be fishing his spot.:D
Your unit will do the same thing, you can run it in split screen and tune it to see your jig. It is very helpful to have this so you know the depth of your jig in relation to the fish, brush pile, etc... and exactly where the brush pile is cause you have it maked with a way point on your GPS
