Smile Alabama State Crappie Championship Tourn. in the works

Great News... Local folks with two Chambers" of Commerce, Lake Organizations, and Crappie Unlimited are considering a 2 day( Friday and Saturday) 2 lake ( Neely-Henry and Weiss Lakes ) first annual Alabama State Crappie Championship event... Dates now being considered are May 26-27, 2006; which does not conflict with any planned CrappieMasters or Crappie USA events... If held, this will be a 100% payback, with a $ 10,000 first palce, $ 1,000 Big Fish Prize in addition to trophies and Custom Jackets for the winner --GUARANTEED.---...with lots of Media Coverage. Event to be filmed by Mid West Crappie.... other prizes: 2nd place $ 5,000, 3rd place $2500 with prizes for 4th thru. 25th place from sponsor's and merchants. ........ There have been plenty of 3 pounders and a few
4 pounders taken from both lakes in 2005. 2006 is projected to be a banner year.... KEEP THESE DATES OPEN...You don't want to miss this one, iT COULD MAKE YOU FAMOUS !!!!!!! Keep an ear open for forthcoming details.
Take a Kid fishing, keep only enough to eat, and release the rest to spawn again. Pop
