I found a compilation with the wasp in it, it happens just about 1 minute 55 seconds in. Here it is:

There are a couple of good ones where he encounters snakes, too.

In about 1965 or 66 my daddy and I were float fishing the lower part of the Buffalo River in Arkansas, and we were tearing up the brownie bass (smallmouths). He had a hand carved plug that an old gentleman made at Cotter and which the old man called his "Buffalo River Baits." These plugs were the best thing I've ever used float fishing rivers and worked great as either a top water plug or a diving plug. They were pretty pricey, too, costing $3 each at a time when most plugs cost a buck.

Anyway, Daddy hung one of these plugs on a limb about 3' from a hornets nest. I begged him to cut the line, but he was determined to get that plug and did without us getting stung. I can guarantee you that I was situated and prepared to bail out at a moment.

I've still got one of those plugs left but won't fish it for fear of losing it. I keep hoping I can find some one who could carve some more and let him use the one survivor as a model.
