    Default Crappie.com slo loading?

For the past 4 days or so it has been taking C.C anywhere from 25-49 seconds to load. I have DSL and all of my other sites are loading in the typical 5-7 seconds. Am I the only one having a problem? I am not complaining I just need to find out what is going on. Another member thought there might be a server problem.

It has been slow for sometime now.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

This site goes all over the performance landscape. It is currently the worst performing site I regularly visit so far as average screen loading speeds go. In earlier coverage of the problem I recall the owner saying he was looking into a change later in the spring???

Question I may have been the one ...

... that said it was a server problem Not sure, but I think I remember Ed saying a very slow loading time could be a server problem. This is a huge site, and I'm sure it's taxing on any server ... especially during peak times. But, I've also experienced slow or no go situations in the middle of the night. It could be when the server is being worked on, but not sure. I'm on cable, too. (can't imagine trying to load all this site, ads, and pics with a dial-up :p )

No other sites that I visit are as slow to load ... so it's got to be something connected with this site. It's the only common thread among us, which is why I think it may be the server.

    ... cp

Glad to hear I am not the only one having slo loading. But this is the site I view the most and I will take slo over nothing anytime. I know servers can be an issue.
