Last spring my home lake was 10-15+ feet above summer pool for some lengthy time. We launched boats from the parking lots. What is a good method for fishing the cold muddy waters when it gets this high? Should we try shallow or does it scatter the fish, where trolling might be best? And what about when its been high for weeks? Thanks for any advise.
when it got that high on stockton lake last couple years, we fished the same areas, we moved arround till we found them and it was usually within 30 yard of where they normally are, eaven cought some up by the picnic tables and lantern hanging poles, found a lot of fish in the sage brush and way in the back of coves, as for trolling we just trolled the same depth of water as always, didn't make any difference what part of lake, depth determined where the bite was, hope this helps
