like I have done in the past and post, but have a death in the family this week and wouldn't be able to get out........
If it's going to get above 30 on Saturday, I plan to go. But, I don't know how the ice looks. Anyone Drive by the lake today, or if you do on Friday could you post what you see please?
Thanks. We almost need a sticky during winter for Ice conditions on the lakes. So many people travel a long way to hit the water. I for one have made the drive several times last year and found that I wasn't going fishing once I got there. That gets expensive.
Thanks

A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Sorry to hear that Monty. That news is never good to get. Take care of Family, and yourself.
You can call the marina at State Park or the Hotel at Bucksaw and they will at least tell you what they see out the window. Sometimes not reliable, but it could save you a trip.
Good Idea.
I just remembered that I had their phone number at the Twin Bridges Fishing Dock.
It is 1-918-542-1025
The two men that own it are: Darrell & Gary Divine
Hopefully they can give you a report on the ice situation.
Still mostly ice covered crossing the Hwy. 13 bridges south of Clinton at mid afternoon today.
Single digit temps again first of next week. Looks like it will be a while before I get out again.
