To all Bay Area fisherman in California

Can anyone tell me where I can go that is not to far from Oakland to crappie fish. I will be visiting my son next week and I want to take him fishing. We will be fishing from the bank.

It depends on what is far 4 U. You can fish the docks at Indian beach resort @ clearlake. The crappie bite is usally good there this time of year. theres also bluegill and bass around those docks too. It's 10.00 to fish there though.

Clear lake is not too far but can you fish from the bank. Do you know of anything near tracy?
