fished truman lake tuesday. fished with drfishjd got skunked . went home go skunked again, went today with buzzmanmo. see that report on another thread

Oh well Beagleman, at least you guy's got out. I'm going on a 4 week drought. My boat keeps creeping out of the shop.

Don't feel lonely beagle my buddy Kenny and i have been skunked 2 days in a row but we have an excuse he just bought a boat that had been sitting for 6 years and were struggling to get the fuel system back in working order and got a total of 5min of fishin both days,i think we may have it whipped but with the forecast i've got to get a load of wood in tomorrow and after that it's gonna get nasty for a few days,hopefully things will go a bit better next week.

I just hope that wise and exceptional crappie fisherman is right.........all the ice this winter has been downright helli'm ready for one of them 50degree mornins when you hear nothin but the birds singin and the fish floppin.........

well we can look at it this way as far as the ice is concerned, yes it is keeping a lot of you all off the water which sucks but at the same time it is keeping more fish in the water for spring and the spawn. Which could turn into a boom in the crappie population in a few years.:D Just sayin

good point redneck, but totally wasted on me, them crappie are safe good water or bad.

up early this am grass peaking through the snow,one dove at the feeder, corn is all gone Deer came last night and feed big time, licked the ground clean, that usually means a weather change.
