jacomo 1,angler 0, fished the docks at jacomo couldnt buy a bite,diiferent type of fishing,had 6lb line needed 1or2lb line, had 1/8 jigs needed 1/32 or smaller,so a few fish caught. tough fishing.but im going back.

no ice, as for slowing down,man i never seen nothing like it.havent fished much in winter but i was watchn the other fisherman an they would instead of reeling they would just turn the bail by hand, man thats slow fishing,im way to used to the truman big bite

Just watch the old timers out there. Especially the guys with the fly rods, they can really zero in on the crappie. I have caught some huge crappie off of those docks. There's a channel that runs on the outside of the farthest dock toward the bank (the one by the bank if you go down the dock, then to the right and all the way to the last dock) so it's usually worth casting towards the bank and retrieve. Hopefully you know where I'm talking about, it's not on the side where you drive by the marina.
probaly saw 5 fish caught,biggest was 9 inch,the locals said as usual,should of been here yesterday they were bitting good.made some more jigs last night will try them this weekend,......as for the channel i pretty sure i know where your talking about thanks.
concreetecrappie I sometimes use 1/64oz jig and have used 1/100 slow, this year 1/32 has done me well. keep at it. it will improve always does.
