    Default Todays Humble fishing trip..

Fished 5 hours today. And not a fish. Marked fish and baitfish , but not a bite. Was spider rigging bottom hook in 16 ft of water(That was where the fish were showing on the LCR) and 3 more hooks above that 16" apart. 8 rods in all.
Now its bad when you can't even catch a drum or catfish..LOL
Light wind plenty of sun air temp was 25 degrees this am. And 40 at 1pm. Water temp was 52 at the ramp and 55 when I came out.

Also fished a Ky rig in deep and shallow brush piles. No fish.

    Hhhmmmm !
Gotta keep goin back, just a matter of time !
Happens to me once in awhile.
Gets depressing after the third time in a row. But, I try and console myself with how nice it is just being out there.
    Now, where's that dadgummed fish ! ! !
    C'mon Lord ! Just one stinkin lil' ole fish ! ! ! :o

hey, don't feel bad. 6 boats the other dcay in Shoals creek fishing about 7 hours, and only 2 crappie were caught. In transition and not real quick to bite right now. Give it a couple more weeks and the water temps get down to 50
