    Default StowMaster nets

Went to the Grizzly Jig show Saturday. I decided to pick up an EGO net while there. While I was carrying it around, a rep from Stow Master stopped me and showed me the difference between the two. I was impressed. Impressed so much that I bought one. These nets have a 25# lift rating when fully extended and the net will never sun rot. Plus, they fold away to fit in a rod box. The price is considerably more but since they are made in the U.S.A. instead of China plus they are much more sturdy without much more weight. Walley Marshall stopped me while carrying the net and he told me that was the net he used. He then took out a gold pen and autographed the carrying bag that came with it.
I think I will cut a piece of swim noodle to wrap around the handle just incase it leaps out of the boat.

The StowMasters are very nice, good choice. Sounds like it was a pretty good show.

THe dealer locator shows Cabelas and Gander Mountain as having them. Gotta love Cabelas!

That looks like a good net, Speck. I didn't see on the link what it weights. Got any idea?

The info label doesnt say Dr. Jim so I went to the shop and weighed it on my handy dandy digital fish scale. It said 1 pound 10 ounces. The label says overall length 74." Stowed 11"X36". Hoop 14"X18" Net bag depth is 16"
