    Default Little Fishies

Does anyone remember a soft plastic swimtail bait from the early 80's called lil fishies ( I think ). It was a 2-3 inch minnow type with lots of detail. I hav'nt seen them in years, but was talking to an old fishing buddy bout how well they worked.

I remember using them on weiss lake some just a few years ago. They worked pretty good we caught a lot of fish with them they had a lot of movement and was good in stained water. Here is a link to some

Yep still made but I never caught much on them. I can't and won't knock them as others love em and catch lots of fish on em. Probably just me LOL

They work pretty good everywhere I've tried em, including Kentucky Lake. Not my go to bait by any means, but have caught fish on em when they wouldn't bite anything else.

In certain lakes in TX we troll them long line style for white bass (the 3" size) and the little bitty ones have been good for crappie. I usually use them in the warmer months when you can actually swim the bait in a faster retreive, and the fish are feeding a little more aggressively. I have many colors in both sizes.
