Default Reviving the 'Piedmont Crappie Classic' & other good stuff!

Alright ! I hope everyone had a great Christmas & New Years. I've missed seeing ya'll for almost 3 months now and really look forward to seeing ya'll again this year. By the way, get ready for the snow....tonight, I guess, and I'm glad the tournament isn't tomorrow!

Here it is....1st event of 25 for the year 2010...........it's gonna be fun!

Shearon Harris out of Holleman's Crossing Ramp
Blast off for Team Bass ~ Approximately 7am.
Team Crappie may begin fishing at 6:12am.
I will be at the ramp at 5:30am taking entries.

If you plan on fishing in the 'Team Crappie' tournament,
please give me a call so I will know about how many teams
    might be participating.

All the information for both the bass & crappie events
    is available on the website:

Optional Big fish pot is $10 per team

& the new optional 'TWT' (Tournament Within A Tournament)

    is $50 per team.

I've been fortunate to obtain a lot of sponsors to help reward the winning teams with some nice cash and/or prizes. Please look at our sponsors page on the website and support them if you can. They are definitly supporting us and we should do the same in return.

ps: George Farrell, owner of Farrell's Lakeside near Farrington Point landing at Jordan, is in the process of reviving the Crappie Classic at Jordan for 2010. I've been mentoring him and he is really excited and happy about taking this great tournament over. The tournament will be run just about the same way as in the past but the weigh-in station will be at his store. He is just about ready to announce the dates, etc....so be ready! Give him a call at 919-933-8569 and let him know how much you appreciate his efforts!

Like I said, it's gonna be a fun season! I know there are many other tournament trails out there, but I am sure trying to make mine the best and most rewarding. Check out the website and the tournament dates and hope to see everyone at Harris, Feb. 6th....Later...Phil
