    Default Truman Upper End 1/27

Well finally got out today, looked liked the best day of the next few coming up..... put in at sparrowfoot and that was a mistake, found lots of muddy water and stained water, could only see jig down about 2".... fished my old honey hole for a good hour hitting everything in it I knew, not one bump...... Heard of some being caught down by the dam so I guess I should have went there? never know, but when the parking lot is empty it is not a good sign..... did fill the old boat back up, 4th trip for her and she only took 6 1/2 gal. to fill her back up..... Even Qwacks rough fish would have been better..... don't look real promising for a few days, due to mother nature...... will check back in as soon asap........

    Default I wish I hadn't

stopped in Calhoun and gased up, since I mix my own oil, I didn't have any with me or I would have cut through and tried Windsor Crossing out, couldn't have been any worse......

Thanks for the report. I only wish it was a better one. I was thinking about going below the dam this weekend, but I dont know if it would be worth knocking the cobwebs off my boat. But just gettin out would be nice even if I didnt catch em.

Way to get after em Monty. Always heard you can't catch the disease unless you are exposed, you won't find out anything by sitting at home. It will get better.

Thanks for the report, Monty. I'm gonna give em a couple of more weeks and then give it a try........or........I may have to go catch some of those trash fish below the dam if I get an itch that won't go away.
