    Default New lake to fish?

Crossed Abbotts Creek on 85 today. Fields on one side of the creek were completely covered, up in the woods on the other side. Looked like a small lake out there. When will the water ever clear up?

On my drive to school today i went around DCCC road which is the road that runs around behind the college. The water from the little creek was all the way up to the road on the right side when I went through there about 9:00 this morning. You could tell it had been across the road because there was a small lake on the other side. There was also a pile of dirt and mud on the side of the rode were it had washed over. Maybe we will get lucky and all this rain will wash the T-ville sludge on down the river.

Hawk, I crossed over it about 5:15 this evening headed to my granddaughters basketball game at old Davis Townsend school. That is as bad as I have ever seen it. One good thing about it, it will flush Thomasville dookie on out. It will be a month before the water clears up I bet...

Kellog...that is Rich Fork Creek which eventually empties into Abbotts Creek...and guess what is way up Rich Fork Creek? Yep, The City of High Point's West Burton Street sewage treatment plant. And guess, who also has a lot of sewage spills?

When I went to Ledford & still rode the bus we crossed Rich Fork Creek on 109 every day. We would make bets on what color the water would be that evening.

You know the sewage plant is just up the creek from 109...less than a mile.

I dont even know where you guys are talking about but I hate hearing about all these sewage spills. We dont have very good crappie fishing up here but thankfully the streams are fairly clean.
