    Default Florida Fish Kills?

    Hey Steve -
Any evidence of fish-kills in your area? Saw a few big reds belly-up down at the Rockefeller Refuge yesterday, but there were still plenty of live ones. Over here it doesn't seem like it will be even close to the mess the Christmas Freeze of 1989 caused.

Snook were hit the harvest; literally thousands. Trout and redfish seemed to make out OK.The state has shut down snook at least until Sept. 1, which is fine with me and needed. I wouldn't mind if they shut snook down for a couple of years.

Also, I've seen dead ladyfish, mullet, stingrays, hardhead catfish and mojarra.
