    Default Lake Houston Crappie


    I fish Lake Houston and for catfish bass and crappie you can not beat this lake, especailly since i live 5 minutes from the lake!

    Nice catch! I just moved to Atascocita (Lake Houston) a couple of months ago. I'm itching to find some fishing holes. I just bought a 16ft Fisher and I'm ready to explore. Do you know of any good coves? When do the crappie shallow up? Thanks!

    Crappie will shallow up for the spawn here in about3-4 weeks .Right now they can be caught suspened in the river
    trolling or over brush piles.

    I live on the Huffman side of the lake. I'm chomping at the bit to start fishing for the crappie. Seems lately dang fronts move in on weekends. I have my areas that I'm wanting to check out. Maybe this will be the last of the fronts.
