Beautifull is'nt it?San Carlos should be getting some water.Looks like the spring bite just might be doable.Mother Nature has a way to save things that are so crappie good.

I wish that you could too slingshot. We've got the best crappie lake here in Arizona down to about 5% last I heard. It kills me.The Apaches use it to water thier cantaloupes.People here just don't figure that this is desert, always has been, and if they don't quit wasting it,always will get worst, year after year.State record flathead in that lake, and all the crappie that your boat can hold.

when it gets that low do you have a big fish kill or is the lake big enough to sustain that much water loss?

It's not a very big lake but is in a little higher elevation. It's mostly in the winter so,the oxygen level stays just high enough to keep them alive. The best crappie fishing around.Happened a few years ago with a fish kill. It's on Indian Reservation land.I think that we got enough in the last couple of days to keep it going again.Lots of snow in the mountains too.

    Default snow

elkman I don't know what I would do if I woke up to that. I live in the foothills of the mountians and we had snow the other day which turned to ice once it melted and couldn't get out of my neighborhood for 3 days. sure is nice to look at a picture of it.
