    Default Radio tracking Crappie Project

We have been following this over on the Mississippi board and thought more of you guys would like to follow this information.
The summary is there is a project to radio tag and track the yearly movements of crappie. The crappie have been fitted with the radio transmitters and today they posted the first update as to their movement.
Even though it is a Mississippi Lake I bet crappie in a lot of lakes have relatively similar movement patterns. Here is the link to the blog.

    Interesting.

Check out a similar study conducted a few years ago in Kentucky.

Just noticed that that link is in his post as well. I'll be following it.
