    Default A Goodun

A lady fishing with me this morning caught this eighteen inch, two and three quarter pound crappie on Lake Hamilton on a Rosy Red minnow. We were fishing about 12-feet deep on the edge of a hump near the main channel on the deep side of a brushpile we made about a month and a half ago out of Hickory limbs.

    It's going on the wall!

    Default BIIIIGGGG One!!

I wouldn't just put it on the wall, I'd have replicas made and put in every room of the house!!! Awesome fish Jerry! I'm proud for the lady.

    What a beauty. 10 yrs ago I had a 17 & 17-1/4 same day and told myself (I thought
back then it was when, not if) that when I caught an 18"er it would go on the wall.
Tell that lady nice job and same to you to put her on it. Had I known my fish is a
Razorback, I'd have come up there fishin!!

Sometimes they come in pairs. She caught a 16-incher off the same brushpile about 20 minutes earlier.

Several years ago I had an older gentleman fishing with me that caught a 16.5-inch/2.5-pounder and two 16-inch/2-pounders off the same brushpile.

Odd thing that day was that those three were the only crappie we caught all morning.

Today we had a pretty good mess:

Thats a dandy. Hey jerry im trying to get 2 or 3 buddys together and book a trip with ya next year. My plan was to drag a boat down, fish with you for a day or two and then lake hop for 4 to 5 days on the way back home. If i can get them to commit i'll be in touch.
