It was just reported over at bbc that Linda Colt was forced to quit at Lowrance/Navico.
I really hate to hear that. She was the ONLY customer service they had.

Ouch Lowrance! That's about the way it goes. Take care of your customers and get the big shaft for doing so. Maybe HB will offer her a job!
I have commented several times on several posts and on different forums. Customer service at Lowrance has been downhill for awhile now. The lone bright spot was Linda Colt. I have read on several sites how helpful and dedicated this lady was to her company and its customers.
Right now Customer Service is looked on by corporate bean counters as a black hole that the company throws money down. They have no number crunching ratio that shows customer satisfaction is profitable in the long run. So since no customer service figure is available they start cost cutting with abandon.
Lowrance will not stop being successful overnight. The top execs there should read the history of Winchester Arms Co. . Today as fast as news gets around it will not take long for the consumer to learn that support is poor or does not exist.
I am extremely grateful I owm Humminbirds at present.

That's sounds almost criminal no wonder Lowrance service has taken a down turn. I've dealt with Linda a couple of times and she provided the best service I've had any where. It's not only their loss, but ours also. She will be missed.

If everyone would email complaints to Lowrance...it might open their eyes...probably won't help Linda Colt...but who knows.
