    Default Frozen into the house.

Any one know where can get a list of public access heating fishing docks around Kansas City while lakes are froze over?

    Also,
I need to find a good outboard mechanic for a mid 80's model Johnson motor needing carb work.....Anybody know of a good one with in 30 miles of KC?

Can't answer on the heated docks, but for engine repair you just can't beat the crew at Cabelas in KCK; fair prices and outstanding workmanship. Welcome to the site!

    Thanks for the help.
I am giving U.S. Boat Works a call right now.

Better watch out once my motor is running, no crappie will have a chance.

    FYI,
Check out this site for all your fishing needs.
We stop by their store on the way to Reelfoot Lake, Tennessee.

You'll have to go south or into Kansas for heated docks. I know Melvern has heated docks. Some of the local lakes use bubblers to keep the ice off around the docks. Jacomo, Longivew and Smithville (Camp Branch Marina) all have open water around the docks. The fishing hasn't been very good and recent fishing reports has all the fishing as poor except Longview which was rated as fair. Good luck.
