Pre-spawn

Well,its about time(down south)for some perch jerkin'; I'm using Big Bite Baits(panfish) this year,they look great.What are your favorite patterns for pre-spawn? Here on Lake Conroe,we look for brushpiles between 8-15 ft.Penetrating (dippin')cover with jigs and bait.If we have warmer weather,we look more shallow.Good Luck to all members this year,looks like 2010 is gonna be Great!

Were going to Fork next month probably try bridge piers unless the waters warmer than usual then we may try some deeper water adjacent to hard bottomed spawnin flats.
