    Question Where to buy?

Can someone tell me where I can still find Delco Voyager marine batteries?
I used to get 'em at K-mart, but they quit selling them. Long time ago, got
one at the Chevy dealer here in town, but I seem to remember that they
aren't able to get them anymore either. I am really hung up on them, even
if I have to drive a ways, don't want to change brands. Thanks, Jeff

Thanks for the info - looks like they have abandoned NE Mississippi.
Nearest I found was Memphis, TN. About 100 miles each way. I did say
I didn't mind driving, didn't I? But I don't know about that far. Memphis is
a "war zone" as far as I'm concerned. Only going there if absolutely necessary! I may have to try an "off brand". Had a Sam's club battery one
time, didn't like it at all. durn!

Hey Jeff, I buy my Delcos at a local owned automotive store.....Don't give up until you have checked all the small businesses close by...I won't compromise...I have had great service from Delco for many, many years....

I bought a '96 Ranger that had one for a starting batt. It is the orig batt. still on the boat and still starting the engine. This is amazing to me! I have never had a batt that lasted this long on anything.

The kind of results you guys have had, me too - things just seem to last
forever, esp. cranking batteries. Maybe I will find some closer, but it doesn't
look too promising. One of the local parts places I sort of trust sells
Trojan brand batteries, and I have heard favorable reports on them - have
ya'll ever heard of 'em? I believe they are going to be a little cheaper, he
asked me $80.00 for group 27, 200 reserve minute Trojans - seems like last
I heard, 27 Delcos were around $90.00??? But if I can find them, I'll give it
    gladly. Anyway, thanks!

Bumper and Bumper Auto Parts carries Delco batteries around here, I don’t if they have any stores in Mississippi.

Stick with the Delco brand. Others advertise as good as, don't go for it. Call all your local parts stores to see if they carry or can order Delco. Make sure of the date code on the battery. If you purchase from a location that doesn't sell a lot of batteries, the battery can be 2 years old, before it is removed from the shelf. I hear the worlds best ribs are in Memphis.:D
