Keeping hands warm

Found this interesting and thought I would pass it on. I read on another thread about the surgeon gloves but I had never heard of this before. Anybody tried it before?

I use a generic oatmeal handcream to keep drying out to minimum.
It makes face seem warmer but hands just get it anyway.

Tried it a few years ago, but didn't like the feeling. Best solution I've found is the small chemical handwarmers taped in place or tucked into wristbands on the bottom of your wrist where you take your pulse. This is close to the veins and arteries that carry blood in and out of your hands, and warming this area adds heat and keeps the blood flowing to your fingers. Doing this can let you go gloveless at times.

To me it would look a little funny breaking out the rubber gloves and vasaline at the boat landing when me and a buddy are heading out fishing. Most folks around here might call the law.

Just don't use minners!!! Keep your hands in gloves!!!

I keep a large soft rag in each jacket pocket. It keeps my hand warm and dry. I've got all kinds of gloves including real warm Gore-Tex pair but the rags seeem to work better.
