    Default navionics hotmaps question.

I got a eagle fishelite480 for christmas and it takes a navionics hot maps premium sd card (South). Does anyone know where to get one at a reasonable cost? all new to me. Can I save my way points to it ?
    Thanks,
    Vince

You can get the map cards on line at Cabela's & Bass Pro. Way points 'are not' put on the maps. You can save them by downloading them to another card though,,,or just leave them in the unit till you sell it. <*)}}}><

Sorry i'm a novice at this. With the navionics card in can you save waypoints and will the waypoints you have saved show up over the map the card puts on your screen.

Yes, not sure on the 480 how many waypoints you can save on the unit, should be 1000 but you should check. Once every so oftern you should save all to an SD card so you don't lose them. Check eBay or do a search. Once the 2010's come out you will find them cheaper. Or Bass Pro or Cabela's may have a $50 rebate on them. I am going to get the platinum right after I get my structure scan bought.

It can save a 1000 waypoints. I have a sd card inserted since i got it. When I save a waypoint does it attomaticly save to the card or is there something else I need to do.
