Default Mr Crappie high vis question/comments

I was just wondering if any of you have ever used the Bass Pro brand Mr Crappie high vis yellow fishing line. I bought some in the 10 pound test and was wondering what to expect......

Default I use it all the time

when not using braid, I use the 6# and as long as it is fresh, I have no problem with it, and it is nice and inexpensive..........

I have never tried it. I use Trilene XT SOLOR, however they quit making it I think, I can't ever find it, so I may try some Mr. Crappie.

I think the 10 lb is over kill, I use the 6 lb and have pulled more hooks straight than I have lost jigs with it. Tough stuff, great price and I can see it when I'm fishing.
Love it, use it 81.36343% of the time:D
I even use it for Bass fishing

Alot of guys on here like it. I picked up a small spool of the Vicious high-vis line this morning at Everharts to give a try. I do not use mono very much anymore but thought I would try it. They have it in the large spools and it is comparable in price to the WM Mr. Crappie line.

I have used it for years and like it a lot but 10lb is to much for everyday fishing use. I like the 6lb and it works for most of my fishing. I use 10/2 Power Pro for jigging brush piles and the 10lb would be fine for this application.

BPS must have had old stk when I bought mine, nothing but problems on both my spinning and spincast reels. Even took it back and had them put line on my reels and still same problem of twisting.
How do you know if you have fresh stuff or old?
