    Default Cold weather tactic?

Hey y'all, i know it's been hard to find water that's fishable around here but i've been thinking when the ice melts this week( it's gonna warm up to 40s) Ive been thinking of trying to vertical jig some Micro hair jigs or ice jigs under a slide bobber has any one had success with somthing like this?
