yeah sorry about that post guys dont know what happened
What i was trying to say is i was wondering the depth of water you guys are fishing in and the depth of the crappie. Where i am fishing its max 16-18 feet deep and no brush or structure other than real shallow. I found them about a week ago but cant seem to find them now
up in the weeds the last week man. 6-12 fow with deeper water around.
Yes its the same body of water, and i fished it the same way as i did the last time. My set up is a slip bobber and a crappie minnow with a green crappie jig. I caught them about 2 feet off the bottom and i tried all different depths. i am going to try next time switching it up a little.
Crappie are moody, like you know who. They are probably in the same area, holding close to some sort of stucture, just not wanting to bite. Happens all the time. Try throwing something different at them, or try to figure out the structure your fishing and find something similiar at another spot on your lake. Crappie can be here one day and gone the next all due to weather.
