    Default bamboo vs. willow

I am looking to make some bamboo attractors, but have only been able to find willow instead of bamboo. Does anyone know if either will work better or if they work the same? Thanks for the help.

I have used bambo and willows. Both will hold fish. Bambo seems to me to last longer. Bambo, willows, pvc, stake beds, tree tops(hard woods) will work. Remember to put in locations to be fished when the wind gets up.

I think both of those types of trees will work as long as they are placed in a good area. I have used mimosa trees/limbs also and they seem to work too. Just try whatever is available to you and see if it works. I think 'cover' and location is more important than the tree species.
Although, some people say old Christmas trees are not good to use???..not sure why??
Anyone know why not old Christmas trees?

I don't like old Christmas trees simply becasue you will stay hung all day PLUS the fish can't get inside of it like with Bamboo or PVC. I would never sink a Christmas tree.
