    Question eyelet


    I was fishing Lake Shafer wed. in the snow and caught one crappie a nice one but just one. The problem I was having was my eyelets on my rod kept freezing shut. I would swish the rod in the water to get MOST of the ice out. Anyone have a idea how to keep them clear? Casting under docks with eyelets half closed is a trick. LOL

    Try spraying your eyelets with WD40. See if this works.
