Found this over New Years. This was 1967. Pretty sure these came from Buttermilk springs on the rock, That was his favorite spot, or could have come from Bull Shoals. Looks like some nice one's there. Used to scale all the fish instead of filleting them. Man were they Good! Wish he could see the boats now....Dept finders, Fish Finders, GPS....I'm sure he would say, Just Go Fish!
Fished till the day he died, and only have three picture's with fish. My Hero!!

Thanks Frosty, that brings back pleasant thoughts. Dad introduced me to fishing at a young age (Mom phrased it "afflicted you to it") I lost tons of his tackle, broke rods, blew up his 5 1/2 HP Johnson and in spite of that he still took me. We fished until his early 80's, he was my hero in a lot of ways and remains some of the most treasured memories.
