AND it was the best of times still. not a lot of fish, 7 total keepers, 20 caught, all on punkin seed slab buster 10 to 12 ft. down over 25 FOW lots of sun no wind early, but windy from 11 am on, pole bender met me at the ramp and we had a good time,

met kevin? he's a lurker, watcher, helper as it were, he was asking me or rather telling me pole bender and I knew him, he fished with this sissy, you know the guy whos wife out fishes him and loves to drive the boat fast, OH Just Jiggin and Sue. yes says he, it was a little slow for him I think, funny guy glad we got to say howdy to him water was 40dg. and you had to be moving to get a bite, they just didn't want it still, later all and get the long johns out, it's gonna be a brass monkey week (old navy term)

to start the new year out right. Up here yesterday it was so cold that not just the tip freeze but all the rod eyes all the way to the handle, couldn't cast, or hardly pull line out...... not fun...... glad you got out......would hate to get out and freeze my wrinkles......

Buzzy get your tab paid it is so big now Beagle would not hardly show me the paper view, he said you need to get it taken care of so more people could get a viewing.
