Thats correct, its a homemade sabiki rig with four minnows. The top black line is a swivel. The bottom black line is a drop weight. If you look closely you can see that a little fish swam by and freaked out the top two minnows.
Next I will try to get a pic of a shark eating cut bait. It looks pretty cool

Careful where you use that rig. Some states have hook limits per line.

I'm with Yankee, it's a great looking rig but I sure wouldn't want a fine for having 5 hooks on the rig.

we use them here for skipjack in the river but never heard of them being used for anything else...from what i understand they are for catching bait only

They are good for shad when the run is on.

Completely legal in Florida, Drifting through a school of bass isnt fun though!

No no no!!!

Sabiki rigs are for catching baitfish only!!!

No self respecting gamefish would ever bite a Sabiki rig!!!

I promise!

Folks wear out the white perch with them here (recently removed from gamefish status as there's wayyyyy too many). Can catch bream too...all kinds of stuff.

Wanna see something really fun, look up tree rigs...we use them on the coast for Spanish mackerel...6-8 gold hooks with coffee stirrers over them...commonly catch 2-3 at a time! Good sized fish...12-16" is the average on the rigs though. Also catch a lot of baitfish that the rigs are imitating.

Sabikis work great in the salt for baitfish as well, and even gamefish......If it's legal, go for it.

Looks like a mess just waiting to happen if you have white bass, hybirds, or stripers in your waters.
