I seen you guy's down there, I was fishing the dock there at the ramp.
Well just couldn't get enough, so went back one more time today, Ed,Ranger and I and after a morning of 21 degrees and 15 mph north winds, I am done for a bit. I would guess we had around 30-40 small keepers, I decided to keep 12 and fix for tonight, tip........ don't leave crappie in a bucket in the back of the pickup with wind chills of about 5 while driving home, crappie were frozen, clean about two and warm hands what a dumb idea... Kaz showed up a little later and he was catching crappie and I would think we all will catch a cold........ lots of fish mostly small 13-15' down in 20' fow....... blue/white white/chart....... just 2 boats there today..... Us and a guy named Kaz, quite a few fishing from the docks.......

Ya that wind was nice. I had a tough time casting through the ice in the guides. I don't think even with four of us in the boat I would've been warm.
Burrrrrr it was cold and windy here today too!
I guess the fever keeps us warm out there!
Good day for ya, even though you didn't catch your 1.8 lbers

That's the way to end the fishing year, good enough to let you think it was worth going but miserable enough to make you question if you want to go back. Sorry I didn't make the early shift but thought Lenny's carp gave me some bugle mouth disease yesterday. But four cups of coffee and an extra hour of sleep did the trick. Can't believe none of your three sissies wanted to stay and fish longer, course I was gone in about an hour,,,,make that four sissies. Happy New Year to all, may your 2010 be your greatest year ever.

Way to tough it out and drag in the last few fish of 2009. Hope 2010 is another great year of fishing and friends for cdc members.
You guys sure are making me want to go fishing. Yes it was cold and yes you caught fish nice way to end the year.
