My deck boat has a 115 hp Merc and that is what I was told to use. A pain in the butt to get it in. We have a squirt oil can with a flex tube to put it in.

What is the correct method to fill the resevoir? Motor up or down? I replaced my trim motor about two weeks ago and I lost alot more than I can get back in it. It seems to work ok but I want to make sure. Is there anyway to bleed it?

fishinrod, your system can use Quicksilver Power Trim and Steering fluid or ATF (type F, FA, or Dexron II). Its a self bleeding system so after you have topped it off (with motor up) raise and lower it all the way 3 or 4 times to bleed the system.

Motor up. Bleeding depends on what motor you have.

Quicksilver is a Mercury product. Seems like I've seen some in wally world but can't remember for sure.
