Arkansas Bird Hunter

My Dad was up ya'lls way hunting last weekend by himself with his two dogs, a 8 month old and a 8 yr old. He said he seen a lot of pheasants but he could tell they had been hunted hard and they would flush way ahead of him. He did get shots at birds all three days he hunted. He missed 5 or 6 roosters. He did kill one rooster and one quail. The dogs pointed 3 coves of quail, he said all 3 went on posted land. He only hunted wiha and he really just wanted to see what the pup would do. The pup pointed some on his own and also backed the older dog so he was excited about that. Maybe me and him can get up there sometime, I sure like following the dogs after birds.
