XtremeCrappieFishing - Team Tournament Trail Has Move Jan 9th tournament from Wright Patman Lake to Lake Bob Sandlin.

We have been in contact with the Reservoir Controlling Authority about the Lake level, in the past 30 days the lake as only drop 4.34 ft. so by the time get to Wright Patman the lake level could be around 237.12 ft. that would make the about 16 ft. high.

Do to high water level and poor crappie fishing conditions we have move our second (2nd) tournament to Lake Bob Sandlin. We will have complete information up coming on our web site on or before Dec. 29th.

We made a trip over to Bob Sandlin Monday 21st to check out the Lake and the area business to see what they had to offer use in putting on this tournament. Stop at Barefoot Bay Marina and they were not open but got a phone number off the door. Then we went over to the Titus county Administration office to see about our Lake permit to have our tournament Jan 9th but no one was there. So we drop our boat in to the water and made some runs around the lake to see if we could located of fish, and we did.
FYI: Water temp. 46.5 - 49, fish in 30 to 40 of water. Lake Level 337.62 = + 0.12'
We found some live bait in Pittsburg at Parker Hardware & Tackle.

Here is were we got some help, after getting back to the house we call Barefoot Bay Marina and talk to the owner, Robert said he would open up early for our tournament and ORDER some Shinners if he new how many Lb’s we needed, so here is the catch, if you are going to fish tournament and would like to get some live bait you need to call him and let him know how many you need.
