Storing Rigs

What do you use to store your crappie rigs; i.e. Capps and Coleman rigs, Kentucky Rigs, etc. so they are easy to get to and not tangled before you use them? I'm sure it's been posted before, but I did a fairly long search and didn't find anything.

I've been experimenting with swim noodles cut into about 1.5" long
pieces. I'm putting double hook rigs with weight on the bottom on them,
so I split them on one side - put the weight thru the split into the middle,
then start wrapping and sticking hooks as they come up. When I get to
the end, I double it and stick the loop under the wrapped lines. Pull it and
it comes right off. May find something better, but it's working pretty good
so far.

Oh yeah, and if you watch, they're free - dad gummed people throw them things
out all helter-skelter and leave them overnight, lose them. I find them washed up on
the bank or in laydowns all the time.

X's 2 on the noodles. That's when I actually make them up before hand.

I make all my rig's at home and then take a piece of stryofoam, much like the blue or pink colored stuff you would use under siding on a house. The stuff is about 3/4 of a inch or 1/2 thick. Anyway, I put the hooks in the end and wrap it around. The flat stryo fits well in the milk crate I keep my minnow bucket in , so it is always close and doesnt blow out when running down the road or river. Hope this helps, it has always worked for me.

I use a piece of pool noodle about 18" long and wind them around it, holds 10-12 Capps & Coleman rigs.

I use the noodles too. If I'm fishing from a bank I use the foam pipe insulation it is smaller and easier to stuff in a shirt pocket.
