    Default Truman 12/18 snowy

Well at least no ice this am, moved over to another area of the lake and got out of the ice, but about 11 am snow showed up and got quite heavy as we quit around 1:15 pm but didn't start till 9:45 am.... we weren't going then a last minute call changed our mind, ended up going with Kaz after a call, and said I would keep 10 nice ones, figure we caught 30 keepers and ended up keeping 12 and actually had some pretty nice fish, maybe a 1.4 was big, but turned him loose and kept 11" fish..... 15' down in 25' to 30' fow..... blue/white seemed to be the best....... got a little soaked with the wet snow was like rain when it melted..... great few hours fishing....... thank you again Kaz....... and we didn't hook up to anything...... well maybe a 300# anchor.....

Sounds better than yesterday. That breaking ice to fish is for the Yankees up north.
    Good job.

    Default Breaking Ice

Heyyy!!! When we break ice it is with a power auger (2 to 3 feet thick) and we save the ice chips for our crown royal!

Way to go guys. Another good day in the cold and elements. I will be done pulling the OT in two weeks and I will be ready to hit it. I have not fished with either of you two yet. May need to plan a day to just get in the boat with you both on the same day and get it over with. Hopefully we still have water that is not solid by then.
