i would think it's pretty well frozen i was in some sloughs today and had to break ice half inch thick call some one before you waste a day driving.

Wapp won't be frozen over. It's not been cold long enough, nowhere near. You might see some skim ice way back in some wind-protected coves on some cold mornings. IMO, but I haven't been over there.

Thanks for the info I was down there about a week ago looked clear of ice and the weathers been warmer last couple days down here. We went to parking lot below the dam and watched two guys catch a couple nice ones of the bank so I think we will a back up plan if we can't get into the lake.

Wappapello Crappie Club held its monthly tournament yesterday. There were a lot of fish caught with the winning ten fish stringer being 8.87 lbs. Big fish of the day was a 1.83. All of the boats reported catching good numbers of nice fish, mostly from the river channel, although we caught our fish on mid depth flats. Ice is not an issue at the lake, it can be a bit foggy this time of year.

Got some second hand info today that a gentleman that I know had done well over the weekend, but was fishing very deep. (22-23')
If it wasn't for the last minute I'd never get anything done.
