Default Winds out of the East..Fish bite the Least.

Thats first weekend in Dec. the wind was blowing 10-15mph out of the east . Now don't get me wrong I love a good drift but I was cruzing in my little jon...
Son if out of the blue my UL bent over ..Thought dang I'm hung up...but my first catch was a hefty 11" speck...Nice. Now that I'm across the lake in just minutes I must oar back across again ...this lake is a non motorized lake see.
Anyway verticle jigging was producing,so on a quick drift I go. Boom ,Boom, My biggest pushed 13 1/2".. 20 on my stringer. Who says east winds don't produce.

They have been from the east (winds) for 10 months, stand by for cold and unsettled weather.
