Man I hate to do this. but will be loading camper, And heading to ReelFoot about 5 am Thursday.
Sure look foward to the little fishing trip.
Will let everyone know how the trip turns out.

Crappie Reeper I sure hate to fish that sorry place. but someone has to do it. So I thought I would do it...LOL

Shellmound.. Well the fish were there but I did not catch any. The guy camping across from us caught 23 out of one treetop. All on little 1/8 oz jig. biggest was 3 lb slab.
I got to fish for about 2 hours in the river and my back went out. so spent the rest of the trip eating and ejoying the weather.

Darrel I would run over there. but ordered 10 13ft rods and a few othere things today. So don't think my wife or the credit card would like if it I got there in Person.

The ReelFoot trip was great. Even though the big cold front sure put a damper on the fish bitting.
Thursday we only caught 15 nice fish, but over all around 45 or so. Bite was lite.
Friday only 6 keepers. And only caught around 12 crappie in all. Only fished around 4 hours .
But what a day. We had 4 eagles flying over head and to see the 4 of them and hear them was well worth the trip.
As for stumps we only got stuck on one. And had to work the boat off it. Most of the stump are about 8" below the top now. but Hope the lake is at full pool in 2 weeks.

Pete-Sounds like you had a good time!!Heck I got stuck on a laydown somehow and fish here almost everyday!!LOL-had fun gettin the boat off 8" water,4 Ft.Of mud!!
